Creating Happiness with Strength

Your Strengths are your key to happiness

Living a happier life is something we would all love to achieve Solutions are a dime a dozen, but there are many scientific studies on the psychology of happiness.

Happiness is subjective – one person’s happiness may be another person’s suffering. One thing most of us love is using our strengths – it just feels good!

Being ‘in control’ is a basic underpinning of our survival drive. We may not be able to control events, but we can to a great extent control our happiness. Unfortunately, this will most likely require us to experience some discomfort – as we learn that happiness is not dependent on everything being a good time or life being without challenges.

Challenges and hard times are often the very blessings we need to deepen our happiness beyond the whims of external events.

As we celebrate the Holidays, I invite you to use your strengths to bring more happiness into the lives of others (you may have noticed that many on the planet are suffering) and then spend some time reflecting on – exactly what is happiness?
