Wasting Time Management

How to manage the habit of wasting time

  1. Conduct a time audit
  2. To do list
  3. Daily review
  4. Set priorities
  5. Differentiate important and urgent
  6. Set times

A typical ‘how to’ manage time list for many, if not most, people is a waste of time because their established habits override their reasoning brain. This is not to say that knowing the 10 best tips for effective time management is not of value, but understanding ourselves and our habits is at the core of effective time management.

Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy.  –  Wayne Gretzky

Effective time management is a lifestyle change that doesn’t require us to become a slave to a calendar and 10-minute intervals. Effective time management actually helps us to have more time in our lives – that we don’t have to fill up with more ‘to dos’!
